Who I am

I’m a facilitator, evaluator, and strategist based on Haida Gwaii. I help non-profits and public organizations plan clearly, measure what matters, and build shared understanding through practical, people-centred approaches.

Born and raised in Daajing Giids, I am a settler living in HlGaagilda - Skidegate with my partner. The rural and remote voice is important to me. Much of my work is shaped by the realities of small communities, where collaboration, trust, and creativity are essential to getting things done.

My background is in public health, management, and community development, and I’ve spent over a decade working and volunteering with small organizations. I value clarity, collaboration, and tools that actually get used, not reports that collect dust. You’ll usually find me walking trails with my dogs, at the gym, or organizing local recreation programs in my day job.

This site centres Field Notes, my personal blog about community action and grassroots strategy. It’s inspired by a course I took in high school that shaped my belief that communities can get a lot more done when we work together. My desire is to help individuals, non-profits, and public organizations feel confident in their direction, grounded in evidence, and be more connected to the people they serve.

If you’re looking for support with strategy, evaluation, or facilitation, I’d love to connect and hear about your project.
